Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant (Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable) We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Bayit Management. The ideal candidate will have a background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, and a strong desire to grow within the field. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations by recording, analyzing, and reporting financial data, as well as assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day financial records and accounting transactions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and related tasks. Review and analyze transactions from Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure they are accurately coded and recorded. Work with the AR team to investigate, resolve, and/or report any discrepancies. Record vendor invoices in the system and ensure proper use of the correct General Ledger (GL) accounts. Maintain financial statements from banks and other financial institutions for comprehensive reporting. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts as part of the monthly closing process. Process all invoices for payment and ensure all creditor payments are made accurately, efficiently, and on time. Resolve finance-related issues and inquiries promptly and effectively. Assist with internal and external audits, as well as annual tax return preparation. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required). Prior work experience in a related field (preferred). Proficiency in accounting software such as RealPage, and familiarity with QuickBooks, Expensify, and Excel. Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills. Strong self-motivation and eagerness to learn about Accounting and Finance in both the Hospitality and Real Estate industries.
