Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a Distribution Manager with the ability to develop and expand our storage and last mile delivery business. As a Distribution Manager, your duties will include networking with industry specialists, maintaining valuable client relationships, and negotiating deals.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate extensive experience in marketing and business development strategies.

**Responsibilities**:
Business Development:

- Development and deployment of a country sales strategy together with the sales team
- Make commercial visits to clients and prospects to present our services and detect business opportunities.
- Make quotes and their follow-up until closing
- Expanding storage and distribution opportunities for the current client portfolio.
- Training for the sales force on the storage product.

As Operations:

- Business administration through different providers (3PLs)
- Acts as a liaison between the 3PL and the customer in account management
- Supplier billing control and generation of billing to our customers
- Provide operational reports required by our clients.
- Generation of KPI's
- Lead the quarterly review with each client.

The position reports to the District Manager.

**Requisitos**:
Experience required:

- At least 3 years’ experience on a similar role
- Experience in Business Development of warehousing services minimum of 3 years.
- Extroverted, charismatic and proactive profile, with communication skills.
- Strong orientation towards sales, negotiation and onboarding new clients.
- Good understanding of the sector in the logistics industry and in-depth knowledge of the different business models
- Advanced written and spoken English capabilities

Sequence a presentation so it is organized in a logical, professional manner, while building an engaging narrative or “story”

Analyze customer requirements and target market in order to develop a visual style while consistently executing upon Expeditors’ brand standards.

Provide creative direction and guidance on (not limited to):

- District/ Product/ Region/ Service Presentations
- Organizational Charts
- Processes Maps
- Geographical Maps
- Customer/Internal meeting agendas and handouts
- Local Events Materials (Invitations, PowerPoint Templates, Flyers, and handouts)
- Business Reviews

Improve content by analyzing usage, re-design and re-construct as needed.

Keep open communication with the Regional Marketing team for updates and new best practices that could be executed in the district & region.

Share best practices with each district in the region.

Other duties as required.
