**Responsibilities**:

- Take relevant tax-related information from the client to prepare accurate tax returns.
- Analyzing tax regulations and monitoring industry trends.
- Researching difficult tax issues and identifying solutions for clients.
- Preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing client financial statements without errors
- Leading fellow tax team members in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Networking and building relationships while attracting new clients and businesses to the firm.
- Demonstrating superior client service skills, by assisting clients with business and tax planning.
- Manage corporate client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance
- Train and develop staff members as specialty areas appear relevant
- Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns
- Assist with other tax compliance and obligations within the firm in the off season.
- Cleanup & troubleshooting of client books pending the issue
- Assist with new business development, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients
- Overcommunicate with the team and clients on pertinent information
- Look for red flags when appropriate to ensure fraud protection for clients

- Ability to understand complex accounting and payroll software
- Extremely detailed and the ability to properly manage deadlines and schedule
- Ability to offer suggestions and insight relative to our client’s financial environment
- A commitment to take on new challenges and be open to variety in your daily tasks
- Ability to maintain the highest professional standard regarding financial information and related associated reporting.
- Ability to troubleshoot robust accounting and tax softwares
- Ability to do advanced reporting including pivots, macros, audits, etc.
- Ability to lead other payroll professionals on all payroll questions
- Attend seminars and training to be knowledgeable in all accounting laws and regulations
- Be a leader in processing tax returns most efficiently as possible
- Be a partner in identifying new trends, advancements or AI to enhance client offering
- Ability to build financial statements.

**Requirements**:

- To be considered for employment and be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, 2+ years’ experience in tax and be open to various tax software.
