This is a great opportunity to work on exciting and challenging change programmes. You will be providing technical HR advice to senior business stakeholders on how change impacts our people.
You’ll be providing changes to operating models necessitating a restructure, headcount reductions, role reviews because of skills changes, TUPE and location changes.
**The difference you’ll make.**
- Monitoring and reporting on projects to the Senior HR Manager, assessing and identifying risks and issues.
- Building relationships and establishing credibility with the Chief Transformation Officer’s team.
- Providing advice and guidance on the people impacts of change in the organisation design phase of a new project
- Adhering to policies and statutory obligations whilst ensuring that our people feel supported through the impacts of business change
- Establishing credibility with the Business Unit aligned HRBP utilising strong specialist change expertise with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
**What you’ll bring.**
- Functional knowledge of HR and related processes.
- Experience of advising and influencing complex business change programmes
**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Experience of managing projects/programmes where multiple stakeholders are involved, including TUPE transfers, restructuring, location changes and headcount reductions.
- Significant experience of working in a multi - unionised environment and developing relationships with trade unions.
- Ability to build relationships with key HR and business stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently challenge with people at all levels both internally and externally.
**What else you need to know.**
This is a 9-month fixed term contract position and the location for this role is flexible.

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For part-time / contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your working hours / contract duration.
- Pension with generous contributions of up to 12.5% from Santander, depending on your own contribution and length of employment with us
- 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
- £6,000 car allowance per year
