**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Data Consultant who is an expert at deciphering data to help us uncover actionable insights through Google Analytics. This role is essential for preparing, processing and analyzing data to help us make more informed business decisions.

**What You’ll Do**
- **Implementation and Set up**: Configure Google Analytics on our website and ensure accuracy in data tracking and management using Google Tag Manager
- **Analysis and Interpretation**: Analyze complex data sets to gather critical insights about user behavior and website performance. Discover trends, patterns and barriers that could directly impact conversion rates and user experience
- **Data Reporting**: Create visualizations to share findings with internal stakeholders through custom reports and dashboards using Google Looker Studio
- **Strategy Formation**: Collaborate with team to define data driven marketing strategies and align data analytics with overall goals to drive growth and revenue
- **Ongoing Improvement**: Monitor and audit analytics setup regularly to ensure data is accurate and conduct A/B testing for web and product experiences with live traffic
**What You’ll Bring**
- Proven experience in a similar role, specifically having a strong understanding of advanced and proper setup for Google Data Analytics
- Experience with Google Tag Manager - custom variables as well as standard gathering, setting up and tracking tags
- Experience with split testing web and product experiences with live traffic and making sure that data is accurate
- Deep experience with Mixpanel product analytics is highly desirable
- Experience with BigQuery and Looker Studio are nice to have
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the business and changing priorities
- A self-starter with a collaborative spirit
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively with little to no guidance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work US time zone (PST hours overlap) to meet our business needs

This is a fully remote, part-time, contractor role. Weekly hours may vary based on workload and business needs.
