As a Finance Strategic Investment Director you will have the opportunity to execute a strong finance strategy in partnership with one the Operating Unit Global Category Leads to drive growth and profitability for their category.
In this position you will partner with the Category Investment Sr. Director, Category Teams and other Operating Unit Leaders to support all financial needs of one of the smaller Category teams Unit, driving alignment across multiple stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities.
**What You’ll Do For Us**
- You will be responsible for category and brand performance against key business metrics, including analysis of material variances
- Develop and communicate profit pool analysis, insights and trends across categories (including emerging categories), markets, brands, including competitive insights and analysis
- Reporting on investment levels and ROI metrics
- Benchmarking across other Operating Units, competitors and peer companies
- Assess financial implications related to new business models, tax law changes or proposals, competitor actions and reactions
- Partner with Operating Unit Category teams on the assessment and implementation of global strategies including portfolio rationalization, investment strategies, brand acquisitions and divestitures, etc.
- The Strategic Investments Manager is an individual contributor
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- +5 years in leadership experience within in senior financial planning or senior commercial or operational finance roles
- Leadership and management experience as a highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels
- Proven People Leadership skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills
