Investment Analyst

The investment analyst will jointly collaborate with the Eco.business Fund and the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The primary activities of this role would include:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Financial analysis (building financial models, cash flows and business sensitivity analysis)
- Transaction support (reviewing business plans, summarizing findings, and preparing reports)
- Support due diligence efforts including industry analysis and writing investment memoranda.
- Support portfolio management (tracking impact, financial and operating metrics and preparing performance reports)
- Support Investment Officers in monitoring technical assistance needs for potential investees or market participants, in coordination with the technical assistance team.
- Specifically, for the IKI project the investment analyst will support the team on financial analysis and due diligence of prospective projects related to sustainable agriculture and forest landscape restoration

**What we expect**:

- Degree in industrial engineering, economics, business administration, finance, or related field
- Sufficient relevant experience in investing, finance, investment banking or similar background
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to navigate large datasets to identify key points
- Strong research capabilities and aptitude for project management
- Exceptional written and verbal business communication skills in English (all responsibilities are conducted fully in English)
- Goal oriented, team player, and fully committed to delivering high quality results under tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel
