We are the IG Team, a young and dynamic group of enthusiasts providing dispatch and logistics services for the American transportation market, with our new branch located in El Poblado, Medellin.
We are looking to hire new talents and superheroes
The primary responsibilities of the dispatcher are to negotiate rates and secure loads for trucks, efficiently manage multiple drivers at a time and fix problems as they arise. Experience is plus, yet not a requirement, as we provide training.
- Advanced English level, both verbal and written;
- Great communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Ability to multitask and give attention to detail. Must be a problem solver;
- Proficiency with MS Office and Google products;
- Sales experience is preferred but not required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Managing truck drivers’ schedules and routes;
- Scheduling freight to be picked up and delivered;
- Providing shipping details to customers;
- Reviewing logs of truck drivers,
- Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes, and times for pickups and deliveries;
- Negotiating rates and times.
