What to expect in this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Engineer to join our team. As a ServiceNow Engineer at Blankfactor, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. Your expertise in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, scripting, and integration, combined with strong technical skills, will be essential in delivering innovative and efficient ServiceNow solutions.- Service Portal Development:_ Configure and develop solutions on the Service Portal, including the creation of widgets and capabilities. Leverage UI policies, UI actions, and client scripts to enhance user experiences.- Technical Implementation:_ Set up workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and automation to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of ServiceNow solutions.- Integration Expertise:_ Configure integrations with various systems and platforms using ServiceNow integration methods such as web services, REST, SOAP, Data Sources, LDAP servers, and import sets.- API Integration:_ Experience integrating ServiceNow with an API-led Integration Platform, such as SnapLogic or Apigee.- SQL Skills:_ Utilize SQL skills for data manipulation and reporting within the ServiceNow platform.- Certifications:_ Hold the ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification, with the ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for CSM being a plus.- Documentation:_ Maintain detailed documentation of designs, configurations, and implementation details to ensure knowledge sharing and transparency.

Qualifications and Tech Proficiency- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and development of the ServiceNow platform.- At least three (3) years of experience in ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM).- Three (3) or more years of experience configuring or developing solutions on the Service Portal.- Strong understanding of JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages.- Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
