As we scale our operations, we are seeking a **Learning and Development Program Designer **who will develop and execute learning strategies, design and deliver training programs, assess development needs, and track learning effectiveness. They will collaborate with employees and managers to support career development, and manage budgets and vendor relationships for this high-growth environment.

- You’ll review and evaluate individual and organizational development needs to identify learning priorities across teams, groups, or roles.
- You’ll identify or design various learning methods such as coaching, job-shadowing, online training/e-learning courses, workshops, and other training delivery types, and implement them company-wide.
- You’ll also assess the success of these development plans and help the team members, leaders, and company make the most of learning opportunities.
- You’ll help our leaders and managers develop their team members through career pathing growth opportunities.
- You’ll be part of a team building foundational programs for the company to ensure overall success and a positive team member experience.
- You’ll partner across the executive and leadership teams to oversee all aspects of these L&D functions, including gaining program insights and buy-in.
- You’ll analyze the effectiveness of L&D initiatives and recommend improvements, presenting strategies, analytics, and updates to the executive team, effectively communicating their impact.

- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relations with employees, partners, and vendors.
- You have strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking.
- You can effectively track budgets and manage appropriate contracts.
- You’re excited about working in a startup environment, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities associated with rapid growth in a fully remote company.
**What Expertise You’ll Need**:
- BSc/BA in Instructional Design, Learning Design, Education, Organizational Psychology or a related field is required. PhD in a related field is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery is crucial.
- Experience developing and evaluating performance indicators to measure learning and development program effectiveness and engagement.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and organizational skills are required for the success of this role.
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods, and familiarity with e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems, and best practices is pertinent for this position.
