Team Overview:
Provide support for the tax compliance of SC countries, Colombia and Costa Rica (Region), supporting all the process, reviewing all the accounting books, re-conciliate them for tax purposes. Keep identify potential risk and help mitigate them. Assist the tax planning of the region.

- Will directly lead the outsourcing teams on the region, work with accounting/ShareServiceCenter/Payroll/Controllers/Legal

Role Responsibilities:

- Coordinate tax compliance;
- Control suppliers payments;
- Review accounting books (REGION) monthly closing with accounting team;
- Review and control all the (REGION) non-deductible expenses;
- Review and control all the (REGION) withholding tax process;
- Coordinate the bidding process with new tax vendors;
- Align all the process involved in ProOne for (REGION) countries;
- Support the analysis of new tax regulations for (REGION) countries;
- Tax business partner - Coordinate with stakeholders the new processes implementation;
- Submit the Tax calculation and payments for approval;
- Coordinate with accounting team additional GL accounts for (REGION) countries (if needed);
- Provide trainings to drivers centers based on new regulations for (REGION) countries;
- Support on Tax mitigation risks for (Region);
- Review the intercompany transactions for (REGION) countries;
- Coordinate vendor agreements, payments for (REGION);
- Create PO's for (REGION) countries tax vendors;
- Provide tax receipts to vendors for WTH performed for (REGION) countries;
- Tax Policies and Procedures preparation draft for (Region).

Role Qualifications:

- Accountant, with at least 5 years of experience in Big 4 or a conpany with regional presence
- Specialization or postgraduate in Taxes
- Knowledge in IFRS
- Desirable. Knowledge of (REGION) tax regulations
- English
