Are you ready to lead the charge in commercial operations for a marketing company? As the Country President, you will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing strategies and market shaping programmes, all while adhering to regional guidelines from LATAM area & International region. Accountabilities In this role, you will establish objectives, strategies, and plans for the Andean markets: Colombia, Peru, Ecuador & Venezuela. You will be responsible for the pharmaceutical business line in your market, translating vision into strategic plans and guiding their execution. You will prepare sales, cost and profit budget and forecasts, formulate long range plans, and direct and coordinate operations. You will also have an active role in corporate affairs activities and market access negotiations. Of course, you will be accountable for a winning culture and outstanding talent to lead our success in serving our patients and internal & external communities. This role will be based in our Bogota, Colombia office. Essential Skills/Experience: - Success leading a small /medium country or large and complex sales organisation/BU with a P&L >$100M - Experience developing a market and/or therapeutic area/brand - Track record of building and leading a company's external reputation with stakeholders/government bodies in own country - Experience handling significant risk and building a risk management approach within a large organization. - Talent leadership skills - Winning culture leadership skills - Experience leading cross functional teams displaying an enterprise approach - Evidence of increased scale & complexity of accountabilities throughout career path - Market Access capability and ability to build and manage AZ’s reputation with external collaborators (governments, KEE etc.) - Critical thinking and customer orientation with an ability to network and influence team members both locally and globally. - Strategic marketing skills - Considerable sales and marketing experience in local and regional/ global environment - Strong TA expertise (scientific attitude and commercial depth) in at least one of our core TAs (Oncology or CVRM or Respiratory or Rare Disease) - Demonstrated ability to manage and lead in a complex matrix organisation through influence and leadership. - Comprehensive understanding of sales and distribution channels of pharmaceutical products in European markets Desirable Skills/Experience: - BA or equivalent experience in business, healthcare, marketing or another relevant field - Proficient in Spanish and English - General management leadership experience At AstraZeneca, we are fearlessly shaping a new future.
