Parser is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building production‑ready AI systems, with a focus on agentic AI and large language models. Role Overview Senior backend engineer with strong experience building production AI agents, API‑driven systems, and enterprise integrations. Specialized in designing agent workflows, prompt orchestration, and TypeScript backend functions that connect LLMs to real‑world systems (CRM, ERP, KMS, internal tools). Focused on application of LLMs, not model research, leveraging existing models to deliver measurable business outcomes through scalable, maintainable architectures. Comfortable operating autonomously in fast‑paced, customer‑facing environments. Key Responsibilities Applied AI & Agent Engineering AI agent design across chat, voice, and workflow automation Prompt design, orchestration, and behavioral tuning LLM integration for task execution and decision support Agent evaluation: accuracy, latency, reliability, edge‑case handling Backend & Integration Engineering TypeScript (advanced) — functions, services, tooling, SDK‑style modules API design & integration (REST, auth, webhooks, async workflows) Enterprise connectors: CRM, ERP, KMS, internal platforms Observability, debugging, and performance monitoring Platforms & Tooling Node.js / TypeScript ecosystems Cloud‑native services & distributed systems CI/CD, environments, and production readiness Golang (working knowledge / fast learner) for high‑performance connectors Professional Strengths Fast learner with strong autonomy Customer‑facing technical delivery Architecture thinking without over‑engineering High ownership, bias toward execution Operate independently with minimal guidance, owning architecture and delivery decisions. Mentor engineers on backend patterns, integrations, and applied AI usage. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline with 5‑8 years of experience in data, Machine Learning or Backend engineering. Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Strong hands‑on experience with APIs, backend logic, and system integrations. Solid programming background; TypeScript experience is strongly preferred. Exposure to customer‑facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Integration Engineering, or similar is a plus. Familiarity with monitoring, observability, or analytics tools (e.g., Datadog) is an advantage. Demonstrated problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and genuine passion for AI systems and applied machine learning.
