We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI Engineer to help design, develop, and deliver innovative AI solutions across a broad set of business use‑cases. In this role, you’ll focus on solving targeted product use cases by applying state‑of‑the‑art AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG, multimodal learning, and more. Your work will directly contribute to the development and growth of a robust AI platform that enables solutions for a broad set of business problems. You’ll be expected to design and implement complex components with a high degree of autonomy, while collaborating with Engineering leads for guidance. Responsibilities Design, develop and own delivery of scalable AI systems and components aimed at solving multiple product use cases and business applications Build, test, and integrate AI solutions, such as LLMs (open and closed source), RAG pipelines, MCP servers, agents, or prompt orchestration layers Collaborate with product team members and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and implementation plans Partner with multiple Engineering teams to help integrate solutions end‑to‑end and ensure quality and effectiveness of deployed systems Implement quick turnaround AI solutions to meet urgent product and operational needs Contribute to the development and evolution of our AI platform Optimize AI solutions for performance, cost, and maintainability at scale Stay current with emerging trends in AI and ML Evaluate new tools, models, and technologies for potential adoption Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AI or machine learning engineering roles Hands‑on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems, ideally in production environments Strong experience with SQL for data querying and management, as well as in‑memory data storage technologies for high‑performance applications Experience working with LLM ecosystems and modern GenAI technologies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, and LangChain Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern MLOps workflows for scalable AI deployment Experience working with vector databases and inference engines to support efficient AI model operations Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React is helpful for collaborating with UI teams, though not required Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams Good English communication skills (B2+ level or higher) and experience in client‑facing communications, including direct interaction with stakeholders Nice to have Coding experience in one or more server‑side languages such as GoLang or PHP for backend development and integration Experience with TypeScript for building robust and maintainable web applications We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award‑winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering, Information Technology, and Business Development Industries Software Development, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Technology, Information and Internet #J-18808-Ljbffr
