Bayer Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Responsibilities Exchange and dissemination of scientific, educational, and research related information: Plan, prepare, and engage with KOLs as an information scientist and colleague both proactively and reactively via various innovative KOL engagement tactics and formats to provide dissemination, clarification, and education of scientific data, study protocols, meeting abstracts, and professional literature (both proactive discussions on‑label, and reactive discussions for unsolicited off‑label questions in alignment with local regulations). Interactions with Medical Societies and Advisory Boards: Answer medical/scientific queries of Medical Societies regarding Bayer products and organize, support, or participate in advisory boards. Participation at/congresses and conventions: Use congresses and conventions to network with KOLs, establish new contacts, and gather competitive intelligence. Coordination of Scientific Education Activities: Plan and organize scientific training and education events/sessions with KOLs within the specific therapeutic area or product. Preparing reports and tracking activities: Submit timely reports on fields, events, and tracking activities against agreed objectives. Act as a point of contact for investigators, facilitating the interface with investigators and appropriate Bayer personnel responsible for approval, and communicating study progress and completion. KOL Identification / profiling / segmentation and engagement strategy: Contribute to internal understanding of specific KOL interests, expertise, and impact in the medical community at large in alignment with the product Medical Affairs plan. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, pharmacology, or medicine. Advanced degree in a science‑related field (MD, PharmD, MSc, PhD in epidemiology, health economics, or public health). At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or experience in drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinically relevant activities. Knowledge of drug development process, clinical research, evidence‑based medicine, interpretation of statistics, and critical analysis of medical literature. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to build productive work relationships both internally and externally. Knowledge of local and international health and compliance regulations. Ability to work independently or in teams. Intermediate proficiency in English. Skills to maintain effective working relationships with physicians and other stakeholders. Organization and proactive attitude. Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Academic/scientific writing experience either through educational background and/or job experience.
