Market Development Representative – Red Hat Location: Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Join the Red Hat Marketing team and help drive adoption of open source solutions across key industry sectors. What You Will Do Perform outbound calling activities to identify new sales opportunities across predefined solution areas within the Red Hat portfolio. Use a consultative sales approach to qualify sales‑ready opportunities, working closely with sales specialists and account managers for mid‑market and SMB teams. Profile and tailor Red Hat’s value proposition to end users, leveraging industry trends and business problems. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date information in the CRM system. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams to support outreach efforts. What You Will Bring Detailed knowledge of the sales cycle in IT organizations, including decision‑making processes. Experience managing outbound and telesales activities and using consultative sales techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 1+ year of internal account management or business development experience. Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical degree is a plus.
