About the Role We are hiring an Email Marketing Specialist – a sharp, creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, conversion, and customer retention. This is not a plug‑and‑play execution role; it requires a high level of ownership, creative problem‑solving, and a strong grasp of lifecycle marketing strategy. You’ll partner closely with Retention Managers and designers to develop and deploy high‑performing email and SMS campaigns for some of the fastest‑growing DTC brands in the world. From ideation and copywriting to QA and reporting, you’ll be hands‑on throughout the lifecycle, translating insights into messages that drive revenue, deepen loyalty, and elevate the customer experience. This is a fully remote role supporting a team in the EST time zone and is open to candidates based in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. A Day in the Life Work directly with a Retention Marketing Manager to execute data‑driven email and SMS strategies for our DTC/e‑commerce clients. Write, proof, and schedule email and SMS campaigns on a daily basis. Manage the revision and approval process of client emails and SMS messages. Develop creative campaign concepts for the client’s retention marketing calendar on a monthly basis. Collaborate with the in‑house design team to bring designs to life, managing revision and approval for client emails. Produce copy for campaign concepts and work with the client to gain brief approval before sending to designers. Bring new retention marketing ideas to the team and clients. Execute automation/flow logic set‑up, pop‑up builds, and app integrations. Who You Are You’re passionate about developing creative email and SMS marketing copy that drives loyalty and lifetime value for e‑commerce clients. You have experience working in Klaviyo or a similar ESP. You’re interested in learning and growing in the DTC and e‑commerce marketing industry. You’re a creative and experienced writer looking to grow your career in marketing copywriting. You’re used to working in a fast‑paced environment and can project manage multiple tasks at once for yourself, your team and your clients. You dedicate time to learning and staying on the cutting edge of trends and best practices in DTC marketing. You Should Apply If This Sounds Like You 2–4 years of work experience in digital marketing, copywriting, growth marketing, e‑commerce, etc. Past experience working at an agency or with multiple clients in a fast‑paced environment. Experience working with Klaviyo or similar email service providers. Enthusiastic, passionate, and creative; thrives on thinking outside the box to create new best‑in‑class customer experiences. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, plus the ability to clearly articulate and express complex and sometimes technical ideas to a wide variety of people and groups at any level.
