Currently, we are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:

Position Title: Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia

This comprehensive role is designed to leverage your knowledge in business analysis in the logistics and warehousing industry to drive efficient solutions and strategic improvements across our warehousing platforms. We value individuals who can bring industry insight and a strong skill set to our dynamic team.

What you will be doing:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements and design solutions.
  2. Document customer and business requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
  3. Write and execute test scenarios, oversee integration testing, and participate in solution design meetings to ensure comprehensive coverage of business needs.
  4. Act as a liaison or stand-in Product Owner within Scrum teams, ensuring that all parties are aligned with sprint objectives and project timelines.
  5. Maintain a clear record of application bugs discovered during testing of sprint deliverables, logging issues and solutions into JIRA.
  6. May include travel to the US to participate in design sessions and/or implementation events as dictated by the modules or features being turned on at a warehouse facility.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  1. 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with some direct involvement in warehousing/manufacturing/distribution systems. At the same time, the candidate must have experience working with development teams in said industries.
  2. Strong background in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
  3. Knowledge of EDI, system integrations, or Automation Integration within a warehousing context is a plus.
  4. Previous roles in quality assurance, functional document interpretation, test case development, and execution are highly beneficial.
  5. Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  6. Abilities: Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.

Nice to haves:

  1. Familiarity with SQL and Selenium.
  2. Familiarity with Postman, XML, and JSON is advantageous.
