Your Part in It:

Working out of our Bogotá, Colombia office, we are looking for our next Human Resources Generalist. Working within the Human Resources department, you will participate in various Human Resources projects in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

What the Job Entails:

  1. Full cycle recruitment
  2. Preparing contracts and new-hire packages for new employees and coordinate onboarding
  3. Fill documentation for hires, transfers, etc.
  4. Handle various employee relations issues across Mexico and Latin America (Colombia, Chile, Peru) (investigations, absenteeism, disciplinary actions, corrective action plans, terminations, etc.)
  5. Inform employees of policies and procedures and guide them when needed
  6. Manage employee exit process
  7. Assist and coordinate employee engagement events within approved budget
  8. Review and update HR Policies/procedures as required

What We Are Looking For:

  1. Degree in Human Resources or in a similar field
  2. 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  3. Knowledge of labor and employment standards in Colombia and willingness to learn those of other countries;
  4. Minimum level of B2 English is necessary to support employees and communicate with Canadian head office
  5. Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and proactive
  6. Eager to learn and passionate about HR
  7. Previous experience in Health & Safety procedures and protocols is considered an asset
