Position Overview The QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring product quality through comprehensive manual testing and thorough validation of business requirements. Acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, the QA Specialist ensures that each feature meets defined acceptance criteria and adheres to established quality standards. Key Responsibilities Execute manual test cases based on defined specifications and requirements. Review product documentation to verify that functionalities meet the set criteria. Log and track defects using management tools. Participate in daily meetings to report testing progress and coordinate corrective actions. Update and maintain the test case repository to ensure current and accurate testing documentation. Collaborate with developers and QA Engineers to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Participate in quality review sessions and suggest improvements to testing processes. Conduct exploratory and regression testing on new functionalities. Contribute to continuous process improvements by identifying optimization opportunities in QA standards. Analyze defect trends and generate quality reports for management review. Review and refine the overall testing strategy in collaboration with the QA Manager. Requirements 3+ years of experience in QA, primarily focused on manual testing. 2 years of experience working with test automation. Previous experience as a QA tester for Salesforce applications. Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and defect management. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. English B2; excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technical Environment Management tools: JIRA, Confluence, Tricentris. Experience testing APIs using Postman. Hands‑on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright at an intermediate level. SQL/pgAdmin/DynamoDB Explorer. Technical Skills API Knowledge: proficiency with Postman. Frontend and Backend Expertise: comprehensive knowledge of product side frontend and backend development. SQL Skills: proficiency in basic SQL methods. AWS Experience: familiarity with AWS services and tools. Software Utilization: ability to use software tools effectively for backend testing. Gap Identification: ability to identify gaps beyond specifications and consider the responsibilities of other roles. Familiarity with fundamental automation concepts and CI/CD pipelines (preferred). Basic knowledge of test automation tools is a plus. Soft Skills Analytical Skills: analyze systems, requirements, and test results to identify patterns, root causes of defects, and potential risks. Attention to detail: review software, processes, and documentation to identify defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from requirements. Organization Skills: strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks. Communication Skills: strong communication abilities to interact effectively with team members and management.
