Summary of Job

Are you a detail-driven leader passionate about bringing digital projects to life? Tepia is seeking a remote QA Specialist to guide our tech teams and clients from idea to execution. You'll be the go-to for planning, communication, and delivery of our custom software solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and can quickly integrate into active projects with confidence and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Leadership: Design, write, and execute thorough test plans and cases to ensure full coverage of new features and updates.
  • Design Validation: Directly interact with design specifications to validate product adherence to intended interfaces and user flows.
  • Issue Diagnosis: Utilize advanced technical tools (API testing, browser DevTools) to precisely diagnose and report frontend and backend defects.
  • Process Management: Efficiently manage defect lifecycles, documentation, and reporting within our designated project management framework.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Professional QA Background: Proven experience as a QA Technician or in a professional QA role within a software development context.
  • Figma Proficiency (Essential): Demonstrated expertise in working with Figma, including the ability to utilize design files for testing and validate UI Workflows.
  • Remote Team Experience: Successful track record working within distributed teams, demonstrating successful navigation of communication and logistical challenges inherent in remote collaboration.
  • English B2 - C1 Level required.

Technical Skill Set:

  • Project Management Tools: Experience utilizing modern project management and bug tracking tools, with prior experience in ClickUp being highly valued.
  • API Testing: Competence in performing basic API testing and inspecting network traffic using tools such as Postman or browser DevTools.
  • Browser DevTools: Proficiency in leveraging browser Developer Tools (Console, Network tab) for in-depth frontend issue diagnosis.
  • Automation Exposure (Advantageous): Awareness of, or practical experience with, test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium).
  • Able to work 9:00AM - 5:00PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)
