Key Account Director, North America Reports to: Global Sales VP Location: Remote – United States Position Summary The Key Account Director, North America serves as the senior business leader responsible for Aiper’s sales performance across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean region. This role oversees all major Box‑Retailer (Mass‑Market) channels — including Walmart, Best Buy, Costco, Home Depot, and Lowe’s , within the consumer electronics and smart technology product categories. The Director will develop and execute regional business strategies, maintain full P&L accountability, manage key retailer relationships, and lead a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) to ensure long‑term growth, profitability, and brand leadership in the North American market. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic & Business Leadership Regional Sales Strategy and Channel Development: Define and implement Aiper’s commercial roadmap for the North American region. Collaborate with Global Sales, Product, and Marketing leadership to ensure full alignment between regional execution and corporate strategy. Strengthen Aiper’s market presence by executing category management, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Annual Business Planning: Lead the annual business planning cycle, incorporating sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitive insights to drive top‑line growth and market share expansion. Manage sales forecasting, pipeline health, and opportunity conversion across key accounts. Build senior‑level relationships with retail merchants, buyers, and category managers to establish long‑term joint business partnerships. Oversee product line planning, SKU lifecycle management, and margin optimization across all channels. Drive channel performance through data‑driven decision‑making, sell‑through analytics, and structured account reviews. 3. P&L, Inventory, and Financial Management Regional P&L Ownership: Accountable for sales revenue, profit margins, and overall financial performance across the North American region. Pricing Strategy: Define MSRP, MAP, and promotional frameworks for each major retailer, balancing competitiveness with profitability. Inventory & Forecasting: Lead demand planning, supply chain coordination, and aged‑inventory management to ensure healthy turnover and working capital efficiency. Expense & Budget Management: Control SG&A, marketing, and trade budgets, ensuring ROI and alignment with corporate profitability goals. Financial Governance: Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain strong cash‑flow discipline across borders. 4. Channel Marketing & Brand Activation Partner with the Aiper Brand & Marketing Center (BMC) to design and implement marketing campaigns tailored to consumer electronics retail environments. Lead in‑store activations, seasonal promotions, and co‑marketing initiatives across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Collaborate with channel partners to enhance brand visibility and ensure consistent messaging across both online and offline retail platforms. 5. Organization & Capability Development Team Leadership: Build and manage a regional sales organization capable of executing high‑impact commercial strategies within the tech and electronics sectors. Performance Management: Establish KPIs, incentive programs, and structured performance reviews to ensure consistent accountability and measurable results. Process Optimization: Enhance operational workflows and sales visibility through tools such as CRM, Power BI, and Monday.com . Talent Development: Identify and nurture next‑generation commercial leaders with expertise in consumer electronics and retail operations. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive sales and account management experience , including 5+ years in leadership roles within the consumer electronics or technology sector . Proven success in managing large‑scale box‑retailer / mass‑market accounts (e.g., Walmart, Best Buy, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s) and achieving sustained revenue and profitability growth. Deep understanding of consumer electronics retail dynamics , including category management, assortment planning, pricing, and promotional strategy. Strong financial acumen with hands‑on experience in P&L management , budgeting, and forecasting . Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly proficient in CRM, Power BI, Excel , and data‑driven sales management.
