Please visit our website: Job Description The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, high‑risk, and long‑duration real estate and construction projects for a financial institution. This role ensures the successful delivery of projects through comprehensive governance, strategic alignment, and adherence to client standards. The position requires expertise in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects, while managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring regulatory compliance. Assist the client Project Manager as required – including oversight of the overall construction effort Advise at a strategic level during the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives Advise on the procurement of resources Contract and budget ownership for direct contracts as assigned Create and coordinate the detailed Project Execution Plan and coordinate completion of GC PEP activities Proactively manage risks related to construction project execution and HES, coordinating GC actions on risk as necessary and managing the risk register Support the design process, review drawings against project requirements, assess constructability and provide construction input during early project phases as needed Assist client PM in reviewing and reporting on overall construction effort and progress; creating and coordinating monthly, daily and event reporting for the construction team Coordinate and support the RFI and submittal process in concert with the cost controller for alignment with cost budgets Create, coordinate, and issue effective meeting minutes and other documentation for site progress meetings, Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings and other meetings as required Assist the client PM in overall coordination of the construction effort in support of effective safety, QA/QC, and labour relations programs that meet IIF and OE objectives Help establish the success criteria of the project, including time, cost, technical, and quality performance parameters; key focus is on tactical, technical, and process delivery of the project Identify and support that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health, and environmental issues In concert with client, support development of contractor and overall purchasing strategy; responsible for execution of defined strategy Act as project schedule owner (or in support of project scheduler, if relevant); maintain schedule at the level required to track critical actions and milestones Conduct kick‑offs and regular meetings with key stakeholders (architects, engineers, suppliers, contractors) to track and report on progress Review as‑built documents and other close‑out items with other project function teams Qualifications 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction Engineering or Architecture degree Proven track record as a Lead Project Manager, specialist in performance measurement and analysis, delivering successful solutions for clients PMI certification is a plus Commercial project experience, ideally with warehouse building, retail store, shopping centre Consultant experience preferred Fluent in English and Spanish (to conduct meetings, create reports, and deliver presentations) Additional Information We want our people to succeed both in work and life.
