Join to apply for the Social Media Manager role at Shareholder Ventures Reports to: Co-Founder & Managing Director Location: Remote Position Summary The Social Media/Community Manager is responsible for creating an exceptional experience for Acquisition Lab members from onboarding through post-close. This role ensures members feel supported, connected, and guided throughout their journey by coordinating introductions, supporting programs, tracking member progress, and managing community touchpoints. The Social Media/Community Manager operates at the intersection of member engagement, program execution, and operational consistency—helping strengthen relationships, surface insights, and drive a cohesive community experience across the ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. Member Engagement & Community Support Serve as a primary point of contact for general member support inquiries. Coordinate introductions between members and approved professional service providers. Track and update member acquisition activity in the Closings spreadsheet. Schedule and facilitate post-close debriefs using the guest speaker booking system. Maintain a warm, welcoming, and responsive presence across Slack, email, and other communication channels. Manage calendar invites and follow‑up scheduling for members, speakers, and referred leads. Support webinar and event follow‑up outreach using pre‑approved messaging. 2. Community Operations Maintain and update internal community documentation, including onboarding resources, SOPs, member directories, and shared reference materials. Ensure all community‑facing processes run smoothly and are consistently executed (onboarding sequences, reminders, milestone check‑ins, etc.). Track vendor and partner relationships applicable to the member experience (e.g., advisors, speakers, service providers). Ensure documents, templates, and resources are easy to locate and up‑to‑date. 3. Program & Event Support Support logistics and coordination for Intensives, Office Hours, and other virtual programming. Provide Zoom technical support to advisors, facilitators, and speakers during sessions. Ensure all sessions are properly scheduled and that participants are notified ahead of time. Assist with planning and coordination of in‑person events or community meetups as needed. 4. Reporting, Insights & Member Feedback Compile and analyze member surveys, testimonials, and qualitative feedback. Maintain member engagement metrics and community reports. Identify trends, recurring challenges, or opportunities to enhance the member experience. Surface potential system improvements or member needs to the leadership team. 5. Social Media & External Community Presence Own Acquisition Lab’s social channels (e.g., LinkedIn, X, YouTube): draft, schedule, and publish on‑brand content. Monitor external conversations about Acquisition Lab and search/ETA on Reddit, SearchFunder, and similar forums; respond on behalf of the brand and elevate sensitive issues when needed. Capture recurring questions, themes, and opportunities from social and forums and share them with the team to inform programming and messaging. Required Skills & Qualifications Advanced B2 or C1 English fluency Proven experience in community management, customer success, operations coordination, or a member‑facing role. Strong relationship‑building and communication skills (written and verbal). High attention to detail, exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfort using digital tools including Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and project management platforms (Coda, Airtable, Notion, or similar). Ability to balance member care with operational consistency. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a membership‑based, service‑based, or education‑focused organization. Familiarity with startups, entrepreneurship, or acquisition entrepreneurship ecosystems. Basic ability to analyze data sets and synthesize insights for team use. Experience supporting virtual programs or learning communities. 100% Remote — work from anywhere in Colombia. Results‑oriented culture with no micromanagement.
