Starting salary is at $21.00 per hour

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

Our ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility and teamwork. This position is benefit eligible. Ability to work 25 - 30 hours per week with an expectation to work more hours if needed. Special event testing through summer will result in more work hours.

Employees must be available to work various shifts between the hours of 7:15 am – 8:00pm

Ability to work approximately 2 Saturdays per month between the hours of 7:15 am- 6:00pm

This job will be mostly a day shift. Available to address operational problems when not at the test center.

60% of daily tasks are Test Administrator Responsibilities:

  1. Performs on-time site opening and closing procedures.
  2. Understands all testing procedures.
  3. Checks in examinees, verifies identification, and explains the exam process. Monitors examinees while testing. Maintains a secure testing environment.
  4. Communicate with internal technical support to investigate and fix technical issues.
  5. Strictly adheres to company policies using careful judgment.
  6. Responsible for maintaining a professional and clean testing center with light housekeeping duties.
  7. Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

40% of daily tasks are Test Center Manager Responsibilities:

  1. The Test Center Manager is the onsite manager of a small team of Test Administrator employees.
  2. Trains, develops and coaches staff.
  3. First contact for facility issues.
  4. Ability to multi-task.

Qualifications Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 1-year customer service experience preferred.
  2. One-year supervision experience in customer service preferred.
  3. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  4. Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
  5. Team leading and training skills, and exposure to a testing environment are strongly preferred.
  6. Strong communication and customer service skills are a must, delivered with focused attentiveness and moderate interaction.
  7. Must be flexible in work hours and days.
  8. Ability to complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner, and handle a reasonable amount of stress.
  9. Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, Internet, and email.
  10. Ability to operate a computer, fax, and telephone.
  11. Must be able to work in a quiet, focused environment and hear spoken words in soft voices.
  12. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs on occasion.
  13. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time while escorting candidates back and forth, up to 50-100 times per scheduled shift, to and from the testing room.
  14. Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time.
  15. Must be able to bend, stoop & lift from a stooped position.
  16. Must be able to see small details at a distance.
  17. Ability to see names clearly on id cards and the computer screen.
