We are seeking an experienced Lead Access Management Specialist to join our proactive and dynamic support team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the access management systems, ensuring secure and efficient access across various platforms. As a lead, you will drive initiatives to strengthen our security posture while managing a team responsible for handling access requests and troubleshooting issues. This is a remote position, offering a unique opportunity to work with advanced access management solutions and contribute to our overall operational excellence.

Position Title: Lead Access Management Specialist

Location: Remote - LATAM

What you will be doing:

  1. Lead and oversee the end-to-end access management process, ensuring compliance with security protocols and internal policies.
  2. Manage the onboarding process for new personnel, coordinating with HR to create and assign user accounts with appropriate access levels.
  3. Review job titles and match them to existing roles, determining appropriate tools and permissions (e.g., SharePoint access for Business Analysts).
  4. Supervise and handle role transfers, ensuring accurate updates to access levels and toolsets for employees moving into new positions.
  5. Administer, install, and troubleshoot Windows software and tools as needed.
  6. Maintain and update system records and access levels for relocated personnel or changing job requirements.
  7. Ensure prompt revocation of access for departing employees, managing termination requests securely and efficiently.
  8. Played a key role in supporting the implementation of large-scale programs, such as the Virtual Radiology Assistant initiative, ensuring proper access for over 3,600 radiologists across the enterprise.
  9. Document processes, updates, and troubleshooting efforts clearly, ensuring a well-maintained knowledge base.
  10. Lead incident response efforts, including providing after-hours and weekend support based on the level of incident and operational demands.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, guiding junior team members and sharing best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  1. +4 years of experience and proven leadership experience in access management or IT support, with a deep understanding of access control systems.
  2. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems.
  3. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex access management issues.
  4. Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance related to access management.
  5. Ability to manage desktop software licenses in line with company policies and contractual compliance.
  6. Experience with remote access tools such as VPN (WatchGuard Branch Office, WatchGuard SSL VPN) and Mobile Access.
  7. ServiceNow certification(s) is a plus.
  8. OKTA experience is highly desirable.
  9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service mindset.
  10. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of managing pressure effectively.
  11. Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
  12. Ability to lead and mentor a team, working collaboratively across departments and sharing knowledge effectively.
