Job Overview
This is an indefinite term type contract position offering a unique opportunity for career growth and development in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims from start to finish, handling client intake, gathering evidence, and collaborating with attorneys to ensure accurate and timely case management.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a law firm, specifically within the Personal Injury practice area, familiarity with claim initiation, client intake processes, and evidence requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Open Claims Accurately: Ensure accuracy and timeliness when opening claims with all relevant insurance companies.
- Verify and Document Details: Verify and document all necessary details for claim submissions to facilitate the legal process.
- Client Intake Interviews: Conduct initial client intake interviews to gather essential information about the case.
- Maintain Client Information: Accurately record and maintain all client information in the firm's case management system.
- LORs and Evidence Requests: Draft and send Letters of Representation to relevant parties, including insurance companies and opposing counsel, track and document responses, and request and obtain video footage, police reports, and other relevant evidence needed to support the case.
- Collaborate with Attorneys: Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure seamless case management.
