1st Line Technical Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Line Support Technician to become an integral part of our dynamic service desk team, where exceptional customer service is paramount and growth opportunities abound.

In this position, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our customers, providing assistance through various channels. Your support will encompass a variety of technologies, including desktop operating systems, telecommunication systems, networking solutions, and custom applications. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying and resolving technical challenges Remotely accessing customer systems to deliver training and support Educating users on the functionalities of our products Documenting support requests and escalating issues to higher-level support as necessary Ensuring customers receive consistent updates throughout their support experience Promptly addressing any customer complaints or concerns with management Keeping technical knowledge current in line with product advancements

Required Skills:

Proven experience in support and project-based roles Strong computer literacy Proficient in PC hardware troubleshooting Familiarity with PC setup, installation, and configuration Solid understanding of Windows operating systems Knowledge of TCP/IP, routers, switches, and basic networking concepts

Preferred Skills:

Broader networking expertise, including routing and switching Experience with custom software and hardware solutions Familiarity with telephony systems and integration Knowledge of Autocab's taxi software is advantageous.
