Position Overview: Senior Agile Coach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct scrum masters on best practices and methods to enhance their existing scrum techniques;
  • Guide teams and individuals in Agile methodologies, emphasizing Scrum principles;
  • Oversee a team of 6 scrum masters, taking on significant people management responsibilities;
  • Facilitate and implement best practices for Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily standups, retrospectives, reviews) to ensure effective project execution;
  • Evaluate team and organizational Scrum maturity and create a coaching strategy for ongoing improvement;
  • Encourage a collaborative and safe atmosphere that promotes open communication and problem-solving;
  • Assist teams in achieving self-organization and empower them to navigate obstacles;
  • Promote transparency and information sharing within the team and across the organization;
  • Support backlog refinement and prioritization to enhance product delivery;
  • Exemplify servant leadership, supporting team members in their development;
  • Establish trust, manage conflicts, and facilitate effective decision-making.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Agile principles and the Scrum framework;
  • Hands-on experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master (4-6 years);
  • Experience collaborating with developers, product managers, and engineering teams;
  • Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring other Scrum Masters;
  • Proficient in English (Advanced/Upper-Intermediate).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or other relevant Agile/Project Management certifications;
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching abilities;
  • Background as a Business Analyst and/or QA Tester;
  • Experience in development and an engineering background;
  • People management experience focused on mentoring technical teams.
