Position Summary
The Category Management RE Specialist plays a crucial role in the development and execution of advanced category management processes for key customers in the direct trade sector. This position is essential in supporting the Customer Development Team by identifying growth strategies for our brands based on recognized business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the RCD process and services, focusing on category knowledge and optimization.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers to ensure fair representation across all retail banners.
- Design and implement shopper strategies that enhance the shopping experience while driving category sales and profitability for major customers.
- Enhance category knowledge through buyer training sessions, webinars, and customer presentations.
- Refine exhibition strategies utilizing shopper insights and analytics.
- Create compelling selling narratives to leverage business opportunities.
- Utilize syndicated data sources such as Nielsen and Kantar to uncover business opportunities within customer categories.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a commercial role, particularly in consumer marketing or customer development.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools, including Nielsen and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in customer engagement through presentations and innovation initiatives.
- Familiarity with technology-driven projects and the ability to propose new initiatives.
