Wineries Seeking a Talented Leader

The Wine Group is looking for a seasoned Winery Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of our facilities.

About the Role

  • As the primary point of contact for all production-related matters, you will supervise cellar, barrel, tank, and maintenance functions.
  • You must be able to effectively train others on work processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hold individuals accountable.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and efficiency, reducing costs where possible.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
  • No less than three years of experience working within the wine industry is necessary.
  • Possess at least five to seven years of supervisory experience, preferably in production/manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and JDE applications is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, along with attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
