As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success of Enterprise Content Solutions globally by executing individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of our business strategies and objectives. You will ensure all activities are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Develop solutions to resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet business needs by applying technological knowledge.
  • Participate in the production of implementation strategies through the creation of functional specification documents to support users and presentation of proposed changes to applicable international audiences.
  • Provide on-call (after hours) and weekend production support on a rotational basis.
  • Participate in design, development, testing, and development of new solutions or enhancements to existing applications.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporated into day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Technical Requirements:

  • .Net
  • Microsoft Power Platform

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in application development, testing, and support using SharePoint (Online/OnPremises) and related technologies.
  • Good understanding of design patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with build and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Team System.
  • Language fluency in English and Spanish (B1).
  • A recognized undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
  • Desirable to have Microsoft Certifications (SharePoint / SPFX / PowerApps / Microsoft 365 Fundamentals).

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
