Job Overview

The Automation Solutions Delivery Specialist will contribute to the overall success of the Account Provisioning Services (APS) team in Canada and globally, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Maintains current security permissions as per Bank policies on user accounts and applications via Add, Delete, and Changes of user memberships, group memberships, and access levels on all supporting environments.
  • Manages low to medium risk projects and drives initiatives within the team and the overall department to deliver automation solutions and process improvements.
  • Drives initiatives with business line partners to incorporate new services to the APS team's service catalogue and ensure all customer and team requirements are completed and delivered before onboarding completes.
  • Provides work leadership and guidance to all team members and business partners they will be collaborating with for automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains working relationships with key business line partners and understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.

Requirements

The Automation Solutions Delivery Specialist requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2-3 years of minimum working experience in an IT projects environment with a working knowledge in application/system administration, project execution, and workflow automation.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Dimensions

The Automation Solutions Delivery Specialist will provide support to BNS employees globally across all business lines and work on a number of projects/application systems, executing a quantifiable number of tasks/projects annually.

Interacting with internal clients of all levels daily and working with application developers are also key responsibilities of this role.

The Automation Solutions Delivery Specialist will be required to work non-standard hours and be prepared to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
