As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our SQL Server databases.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with a focus on:

  • Database Administration
    • Monitoring and maintaining production database clusters to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
    • Performing regular maintenance operations, including backups, indexing, and statistics updates.
  • Development Support
    • Providing development environments and promoting coding best practices to ensure high-quality database development.
  • Projects and Initiatives
    • Participating in database projects, including data warehousing, Master Data Management, and server consolidation.
    • Assessing and migrating on-premises servers to Azure.
  • Azure Administration
    • Administering Azure data platforms, including managed instances and data storage.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in SQL Server DBA roles.
  • Deep knowledge of T-SQL coding and query optimization.
  • Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with database monitoring and maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated and committed team player with a strong sense of autonomy.
