Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled AR Team Manager to join our Finance team at J.S. Held LLC. As an experienced leader, you will play a critical role in managing our accounts receivable processes in our Colombia Shared Services Center.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounts receivable functions, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills. You will be responsible for supervising a diverse team in a hybrid working environment, driving improvements, and ensuring all work is completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support functional managers in billing, collections, and cash app as assigned
  • Gain and maintain a complete understanding of all processes, systems, tools, problems, etc.
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Supervise and assist with documenting all processes, creation of policies, SOP's, training guides, etc.
  • Analyze weekly reports received from bill review portal vendors
  • Prepare weekly bill review portal status reports and distribute to stakeholders
  • Effectively process write-offs in an accurate and timely manner based on corporate policy
  • Assist bill review portal teams with payment reconciliations
  • Provide continual performance feedback to functional managers

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience supervising an AR team or similar role
  • At least 5 years experience working in AR (billing, collections, cash app)
  • Experience working with ERP's (Microsoft D365, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Intermediate knowledge of reporting platforms, bill review portals, and MS Office
