We are seeking a skilled Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team at Elanco Tiergesundheit Ag. This role will play a crucial part in optimizing the flow of products to customers across Central and South America, working closely with key stakeholders to drive accurate demand planning, efficient replenishment, and effective inventory management for domestic markets.
As a key member of our Commercial Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating S&OP meetings, driving consensus among stakeholders on demand management, product supply, and inventory optimization. You will also monitor forecast accuracy trends, collaborate with the IAC team to recommend improvements, and provide regular updates on globally defined KPIs.
In addition, you will ensure inventory accuracy, proactively identify and mitigate future risks, and collaborate across departments to prevent product destruction. You will actively participate in product launch activities, develop accurate launch forecasts, and track sales performance against forecasts for the first 6-12 months post-launch.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of inventory control principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your ability to influence decisions through insightful data analysis will be critical in optimizing inventory levels to meet fluctuating demand while minimizing product destruction.
