About the Role
VISA is seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Management Specialist to join our Business Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of user assets, ensuring accurate and efficient procurement and asset services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the inventory data maintenance process, ensuring strict adherence to our process lifecycle and updating systems and documents regularly.
- Perform monthly inventory validation audits for VISA sites, validating status and reconciling certificates of destruction when an asset is decommissioned.
- Reconcile inventory across various systems and statuses, including in stock, in use, legal review, and wiping/disposal activities.
- Implement procurement and asset activities, inventory control, logistics, and distribution processes to ensure effectively functioning processes.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods, works, and services using our procurement procedures.
- Manage the refresh of assets for assigned regions and assist team members as needed to ensure a robust and operationally efficient asset service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree.
- Basic knowledge of IT asset management.
- Average knowledge and experience using Excel spreadsheets.
- Preferred qualifications include 5 or more years of work experience at a tech company, experience with inventory management systems, and above-average experience with using Excel formulas.
