About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join IQVIA Argentina as a Business Development Manager, where you will play a key role in securing and growing our base business revenue. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring overall client satisfaction, representing IQVIA to clients, and building strong relationships across the client organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Under direct guidance, coordinate sales, consulting, service, and business line activity to ensure client needs are met following an account plan to achieve IQVIA targets.
  2. Client Service
  • Represent IQVIA to the client and the client to IQVIA in all service and sales-related activity.
  • Manage basic accounts (approximately 2 to 3).
  • Build client relationships across the client organization, including Business Insiders.
  • Resolve 1st line service issues and coordinate 2nd line support issues with the service teams.
  • Ensure thorough service reviews and transaction surveys that service agreements, contract specifications, and product deliverables meet clients' specifications, including timeliness and quality.
Sales
  • Secure renewal contracts.
  • Establish a tactical and strategic understanding of the client's business issues and assist with developing a compelling solution using appropriate IQVIA products and services.
  • Assist with coordinating business development and service activity with the Account Director, Sales, Consulting and Service Specialists to validate opportunities to achieve account plan, revenue, and client satisfaction targets.
  • Assist with developing strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business and win-back opportunities.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree Required.
  2. Two (2) to five (5) years relevant sales or account management experience and/or solution sales management experience preferred.
  3. Some knowledge of IQVIA offerings, client account management, IQVIA information solutions/consulting services portfolio, and the pharmaceutical industry.
