About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our P&C reinsurance team in Latin America. As the Head of Reinsurance P&C Latin America, you will be responsible for managing our large single risk reinsurance portfolio, which consists of complex risks from top property & casualty insurers. You will be the face of Swiss Re in the market, representing our company at industry events and senior management meetings.

Your goal will be to understand client needs, design relevant solutions, and drive innovation by expanding the pipeline of new business solutions and products. You will also focus on maintaining underwriting quality and preserving the value of our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategy for P&C Fac in Latam, aligning it with Swiss Re's risk appetite and guidelines.
  • Oversee portfolio tracking and management, underwriting quality, and portfolio profitability to achieve or surpass financial and operational KPIs.
  • Lead the P&C Fac teams in our regional offices in Miami, Sao Paulo, Bogota, and Mexico City.

About You:

  • You have a strong reputation, network, and expertise in the Latam P&C Fac market, with a background in re/insurance P&C underwriting.
  • You lead your team with a positive attitude, drive, and results-oriented goals that help everyone grow and succeed.
  • You contribute to the Latam Management Team with your intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • You communicate effectively in English and Spanish, with other languages valued.

Locations: Miami (preferred), Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Bogota.
