Key Responsibilities- Design and Deliver Compliance Programs: Develop and implement best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices for ICRM, ensuring they meet business and customer needs in a manner consistent with the Citi program framework.
- Compliance Risk Assessments: Analyze complex comparative data, prepare and present regional and global reports related to compliance risk assessments, and monitor compliance-related issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Review materials to ensure compliance with various regulatory and legal requirements and to ensure compliance risks are appropriately identified and addressed.
- Investigations and Response: Investigate and respond to compliance risk issues, regulatory inquiries, prepare required documentation, make recommendations to senior management, and prepare responses for regulatory inquiries.
- Compliance Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring of adherence to Citi's Compliance Risk Policies and relevant procedures and prepare, edit, and maintain Compliance program-related materials.
- Collaboration and Communication: Interact and work with other areas within Citi, as necessary, and keep abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes to further identify new key risk areas.
- Experience: +10 years of experience in compliance, legal, or other control-related functions in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in area of focus.
- Knowledge and Certifications: Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies; certifications in AML; knowledge and experience of personal data protection regulation (Data Protection Laws); SAGRILAFT and PTEE.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization; strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to both work collaboratively and independently; ability to navigate a complex organization; advanced analytical skills; excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Education: Bachelor's degree; experience in compliance, legal, or other control-related functions in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in area of focus; Advanced degree a plus.
