Job Title: Compliance Officer

BruntWork is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains the highest ethical standards in all areas of operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, HIPAA, OSHA, and home healthcare licensing laws.
  • Conduct regular audits of company operations, including authorizations, patient records, billing practices, and staff certifications, to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for staff on compliance topics.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of compliance activities and any identified risks or issues.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, administration, and legal teams to address compliance concerns and implement best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, preferably in home healthcare or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and collaborate with staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially using Excel and Word to draft and analyze reports.
