Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager for Software Development in Bogotá, Colombia. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for providing people and project management for the local team within a bigger team distributed across multiple locations.

Our QA Lead will manage a series of software testing processes to achieve the highest levels of quality in the product, collaborating with the Development Director II in Mobile Quality Verification. You will also manage a team of Testers and QV Quality Designers, aligning with leadership and representatives of the wider QA team, and promoting best practices and new ideas to ensure goals are met.

We offer a competitive salary of $7,500 - $10,000 USD per month, plus benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, a global fitness benefit, and a mental wellbeing plan.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will develop working relationships with the immediate team and those outside of the immediate team that affect the completion of the project. You will communicate with the project team, coordinate requirements with external partners, and adopt existing methodologies, determining and rolling out new ones according to project needs.

You will also identify process improvements, evolve and improve project-wide processes under your area of influence, and manage the planning, execution, and reporting processes of QA testing activities across their project(s). Additionally, you will build and evolve the team, identify resourcing needs, provide challenges and developmental opportunities to ensure that all employees reach their potential, and participate in the hiring process.

We are looking for a candidate with 4+ years of Project Management experience, 3+ years of People Management experience, and experience with Software Development Lifecycle or testing processes. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required, as well as experience using Jira, JaaS, or similar bug or task management systems.
