Software Quality Assurance Manager

Electronic Arts Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Bogotá, Colombia. As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality software products and ensuring that they meet the company's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software testing strategies and processes to ensure the highest levels of quality in software products.
  • Lead a team of Testers and Quality Designers to achieve software quality goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and project management, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of software testing activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure successful delivery of software products.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, quality management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management, team leadership, or a related field.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle, testing processes, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Jira, JaaS, or similar bug or task management systems.

Accomplish the Role:

  • Develop working relationships with immediate team members and external partners to ensure successful delivery of software products.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.
  • Adopt and implement existing methodologies and determine new ones according to project needs.

Identify Process Improvements:

  • Evaluate and improve project-wide processes under your area of influence.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and reporting processes of QA testing activities across projects.
  • Build and evolve the team, identifying resourcing needs and providing developmental opportunities to ensure employees reach their potential.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, quality management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management, team leadership, or a related field.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle, testing processes, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Jira, JaaS, or similar bug or task management systems.
