Job Description

The Platform Administrator will play a critical role in managing our IT Service Management/Jira platform, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and providing technical support to business users and stakeholders. This position requires a strong understanding of ITIL processes, workflow automation, and database management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing service solutions, gathering requirements for workflow development, building and testing workflows, and providing input on process improvements and tool capabilities. They will also be expected to follow ITIL standards, build custom reports for business partners, and provide technical assistance and knowledge in system architecture and status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration & Support: Manage the IT Service Management/Jira platform, including Knowledge Management (KM) function, ensuring KM articles are current and relevant to business users and technical staff.
  • Service Management Technology: Transform clear requirements into business services by mapping workflow requirements into automation and managing workflow.
  • Identify and remediate problems to ensure business continuity.
  • Plan and facilitate structured team meetings to reach group decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology, business, or humanities field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Business Analyst, System Administrator, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 products.
  • Experience explaining technical terms to non-technical staff.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, including technical writing.
