Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to support the process of reinventing the way we measure how people shop, both online and in-store. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in evaluating current methodologies and identifying opportunities for enhancement, presenting and communicating findings and recommendations, and designing end-to-end validation/projection performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and Enhance Methodologies
    • Assess current data cleaning, data preparation methodologies, data quality tracking, and consumer projection techniques.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations for enhancement.
  • Present and Communicate Findings
    • Develop and present findings and recommendations based on research and analysis.
    • Communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design Validation/Projection Performance Indicators
    • Develop end-to-end validation/projection performance indicators in connection to product quality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and refine these indicators.
  • Develop New Solutions/Methodologies
    • Design and develop prototypes of new solutions/methodologies to address emerging market challenges.
    • Collaborate with technology teams to deploy and refine these solutions.
  • Support Production Deployment
    • Support the production deployment of proposed enhancements/new solutions.
    • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Document Findings and Methodologies
    • Document findings, methodologies, and best practices for future reference.
    • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Socio-economics, Data Science, or other related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 or more years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong aptitude for data analysis, with experience in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sources.
    • Excellent statistical and logic skills, with experience in data cleaning, outlier validation, sampling, bias reduction, indirect estimation, and data aggregation techniques.
    • Experience with Python, with demonstrated expertise.
    • Experience with SQL, with working knowledge of queries and large-scale databases.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in presenting and communicating complex data insights.
