About the Role

Convatec is a global medical products and technologies company, seeking a skilled Network Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise in network protocols and technologies will be crucial in providing guidance to our engineering teams and ensuring the smooth operation of our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex network solutions to meet business needs.
  • Configure and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring optimal network performance and availability.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and users at various levels within the organization.
  • Manage network security, including firewalls, VPN, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of the network and its integration with other systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest network technologies, trends, and best practices.

About You
  • At least 5 years of multivendor network/security hands-on experience.
  • Knowledge with multivendor network design.
  • Knowledge on Wi-Fi network solutions designs and implementation.
  • Knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPN, and access controls.
  • Knowledge on network automation and IaC concepts will be a plus.
  • Self-responsible, structured, and solution-oriented working.
  • Very good communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong research skills to build information to deliver new projects and solve issues.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Cisco CCNP, CCIE (Valuated).
