Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients through proactive communication, ensuring seamless day-to-day and long-term support.
  • Effectively manage client expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure successful opportunities and accuracy in pricing programs.
  • Participate in rate matrix reviews to guarantee profitability and competitiveness for key accounts.
  • Contribute to rate calculations, report preparation, and client presentations for large-spend bids.
  • Ensure timely delivery of client commitments by working closely with internal teams and executing operational tasks as needed.
  • IDentify, manage, and build new business relationships within the target market.
  • Support the Customer Service Manager in delivering optimal transportation services.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
  • Consult with clients to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Coordinate prospect, sales, and current client meetings, working closely with the VP of Sales/CS.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record with a focus on account management, appointment setting, presenting, meeting with customers, pricing, proposals, and closing deals.
  • Recent degree in Marketing or Business-related field required.
  • Previous experience in an analyst role or pricing function is an asset.
  • Able to understand business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions.
  • Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of the sales planning process.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.
  • Able to function independently with minimal supervision and work effectively in a team environment.
