Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Stryker's growth by collaborating with local sales, marketing, and MPS teams globally to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Act as a MAKO product authority to facilitate local MAKO launches, providing clinical expertise and product support to clients.
  • Deliver precise instructions on Mako's surgical techniques, addressing any challenges faced by surgeons, nurses, and surgical technicians.
  • Utilize proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for integration with the company's Robotic Arm, assisting surgeons in pre-surgical robotic planning.
  • Provide backup support for case coverage within the designated region.
  • Effectively communicate the clinical advantages of the products, fostering strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and staff at Stryker accounts.
  • Assist in the regional management of scheduled surgeries alongside hospitals and surgeons, contribute to the development of regional MAKO Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical experts, and support regional sales and marketing initiatives through product demonstrations and participation in local and regional clinical conferences. Offer potential clients the chance to witness the product in action and articulate its clinical significance.
  • Serve as a resource for new MPS personnel in the field and provide guidance on internal processes as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree in a relevant clinical or technical discipline;
  • Prior experience in a hospital or surgical setting;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Ability to design and deliver training and educational programs;
  • Extensive experience in clinical and surgical support, comfortable in the operating room environment while guiding surgeons and clinical staff;
  • Basic computer skills (familiarity with systems and Microsoft Office);
  • Knowledge of Orthopedics is advantageous;
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to flexible working hours;
  • Position based in Bucaramanga.
