About This Opportunity

Tria Federal is seeking a talented Expert Technical Writer to join our team. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality technical documentation that supports our clients' modernization journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to read and analyze highly technical materials and create presentations of that information.
  • Author complex software documentation, including user manuals, release notes, installation guides, design guides, training materials, technical guidance, and other technical documentation.
  • Partner with teams such as development, customer engineering, marketing, and technical support groups to understand and respond to customer documentation needs.
  • Create new documentation and evaluate, edit, improve, and correct legacy documentation.

Requirements

  • Advanced ability to design and develop Microsoft Products including Office, Project, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent writing, editing, drafting, and journaling skills, to include the ability to design and create documents and artifacts from notional ideas.
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of all project management knowledge areas preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and handle tight deadlines.
  • Highly responsive to requested needs.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion.

Education and Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree must be in engineering, math, and/or science.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Clearance.
