Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Client-Facing Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic virtual team. In this critical leadership role, you will leverage your technical expertise, communication skills, and managerial acumen to provide high-quality financial guidance to our clients and oversee a team of accounting staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze detailed client financial statements, payroll, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for financial improvement, resolve issues, and make strategic recommendations for clients.
  • Conduct video meetings with clients, delivering insights in an approachable and understandable manner.
  • Build and maintain trust with clients when discussing sensitive financial issues.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to a team of accounting professionals, ensuring quality and consistency in client deliverables.
  • Manage multiple client priorities, coordinating with team members to meet deadlines and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate and implement best practices in accounting and finance to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting/finance experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory level experience with the ability to manage and develop financial policies, procedures, and team productivity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills and acute attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • CPA license is required, and must hold a CPA certification.
  • Work experience in the audit department is a MUST.
  • Experience with US payroll is required.
  • Familiarity with US Tax Returns is a plus.
